Buddies Courier is not a healthcare provider or covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). However, we recognize the importance of protecting sensitive health-related information during medical and pharmaceutical deliveries.

 

When transporting medical materials on behalf of authorized clients, Buddies Courier and its independent contractors agree to:

 

• Maintain confidentiality of package contents

• Not access, open, or disclose medical information

• Follow client-provided handling and delivery instructions

• Complete HIPAA awareness training when required for medical routes

 

 

Any protected health information (PHI) is handled solely as necessary to perform delivery services and is not stored, used, or disclosed beyond the scope of transportation.

 

Questions regarding HIPAA-related concerns may be directed to the client healthcare provider.
